About Groot Marico
Groot Marico is a comfortable 2.5 hour drive from JHB PTA, on the N4 Platinum highway which is the gateway to Bostwana & Namibia.
The Groot Marico river is an important source of water, it is one the few clean rivers left in South Africa
The Marico river flows through the farms going North, eventually joining the Crocodile river, which becomes Limpopo River. Groot Marico is part of a protected Biosphere Reserve which was officially declared by UNESCO in July 2018.
